The Centre For Professional Development, is a collaborative effort between leading industry training providers and professional bodies, that aims to train and support Health Care Professionals in playing an active and influential role in the insurance industry and medicolegal studies.
Being led by industry experts, the Centre has enough capacity and expertise to empower clinicians with the medical know-how in the delivery of medicolegal expertise.
Our Centre for Clinical Skills aim to train, upskill and update professionals in the coalface of service delivery in order to deliver quality services to experts in industry. We offer training in clinical skills that are necessary in the industry, for the wholistic patient management.
All our training programs are CPD accredited through the HPCSA and we are in the process of other professional bodies accreditation.
Our Centre for Administration and Management Studies focuses on the development of Administration and Management Support for Health Care Professionals in Insurance Industry and the mainstream general and specialists practices.
All the courses offered under the Centre for Administration and Management Studies are to enhance the service offering by clinicians to ensure there is adherence to the SLA's in the medicolegal reporting industries.
The Centre for Medicolegal Practice concentrates on the development of all practitioners to deliver a reputable medicolegal service and is supported by the Centre for Administrative Studies to cover the entire value chain.
The flagship course is the AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, 6th Ed. We have revolutionized this course to deliver according to each clinician speciality and interest. This course is run over a total of 5 days with the 6th being an Examination Day. All Exams are Online.

A Medical Graduate from Wits University, Occupational Medical Practitioner with Certificates in Impairment Evaluations, Ionizing Radiation in the Workplace For Occupational Medical Practitioners, Health Sector Mediation and Management Studies.
Extensive experience in General Medical Practice, Health Services (including Hospitals) Management, Courses Assessments and Moderation, AMA Guides 6th Ed. Facilitation and Training. He is the current AMA Guides Impairment Evaluations Trainer/Facilitator and has trained more than 500 Impairment Assessors, including Medical Specialists, Allied Health and General Practitioners.
A member of the RAF Medical Experts as an Expert Impairment Rater. He is currently a member of the Compensation Fund Tribunal and member of the Committee on Schedule 3 review for COIDA. He is Current Medico-Legal Advisor to GENOA and runs Incapacity Programs for Industries in the Mining and Open Labour Markets. He is the Medical Expert on the General Damages Benefit Standardization project for the RAF.
He is the medical contributor to the Medicolegal Report Writer One X-i.
